This work
is dedicated to my four legged & two legged family & to honor
coyote trickster. For those who know & those that don't know Coyote
has been given great power by the creator to do many things on mother
earth. However coyote forgot long ago what coyote was sent to do &
it appears that coyote's time is spent fulfilling coyote's sexual
appetite. Even so. Coyotes presence gives us much to learn from &
whatever is learned or not learned I know coyote will continue forever
& is indifferent to it all.
The suite
of six images with verses was drawn, composed & calligraphed by the
artist: Calligraphy design by Eric Mathes: Lithographs were printed at
Fox Graphics, Boston, by Herbert A. Fox: Letterpress by Moving Parts
Press, Santa Cruz: Bindery by Schuberth Book Bindery.
The edition of 30 suites & four artists proofs are on Rives
BFK gray. The chine colle paper is mokiki. All trial & state proofs
are recorded. The work was published by Native Images Santa Cruz. 1984
